Helping You Prepare
At Birthline, we understand that having a child requires a significant financial investment. Babies require a lot of care and special material goods that can be quite expensive. Birthline has a material assistance program to provide you with some of these items so that you can focus your time and energy on loving the child you’re bringing into the world.
What is material assistance?
Birthline receives donations of pre-loved and new baby items from the community. These items include cots, prams, car seats, change tables, baby clothing and much more. We have volunteers who sort through these items and pass them along, completely free of charge, to those who need them. This program exists to lift some of the financial burdens of having a newborn.
Please be aware that there may be a waiting list on some items.
Who can receive items from your material assistance program?
The items we collect are for new mums and dads or those who are expecting babies soon and who need help getting everything ready for their new arrivals. Birthline is proud to help new parents succeed early on in their parenting journeys with physical items. Material assistance available to South Australians only. We could provide contact for interstate material assistance request if needed.
How do I sign up?
If you’re an expecting mum and are interested in receiving items from our material assistance program, contact us and we’ll place you on our list.
